BC PNP

Skilled Worker

If you are employed at A and B levels, you must have at least two years of relevant work experience before you can receive a job offer.

Entry and Semi- skilled worker

  • Employment due to tourism / hospitality, food processing and long-haul trucking (NOC Skill Level C or D rank)

  • Long-haul truck drivers requires at least 2 years of experience

 

EEBC

Receive full-time & indeterminate job offers from employers in BC and demonstrate necessary language skills and basic income

(Proof of at least 2 years experience in the field)

  • One program (CEC, FSWP, FSTP) of EEBC and Express Entry system must also be satisfied.

  • Occupation: NOC Skill Level O, A, B

 

Employer Eligibility

  • More than 1 year of company establishment and operation (more than 2 years of entry level & semi-skilled employer)

  • 5 or more full-time full-time employees in Greater Vancouver


Federal
Express Entry

The Express Entry system allows you to apply for a green card by drawing the top ranked applicants.

After confirming your eligibility, you will receive an Invitation to Apply, which will allow you to apply for permanent residence after applying for Express Entry.

 

HOW TO APPLY FOR EXPRESS ENTRY

The Express Entry system registers using the Citizenship and Immigration Canada's online site.

  • Complete your profile using the Immigration Department's online site

  • Applicants who meet the requirements of each federal immigration program (i.e, FSWC, FSTC and CEC) are candidates.

  • You will be eligible to apply for permanent residence in the highest score order (ITA or letter of invitation).

 

FEDERAL SKILLED WORKERS

  • 1 year or more paid experience within the last 10 years

  • Experience of NOC Skill type O, A, B

  • Language Proficiency CLB 7 (IELTS: 6 / CELPIP: 7)

  • Score 67 or more in terms of language, education, career, adaptability, job offer, age, etc.

 

Skilled TRADES

  • NOC Skilled type B, Trade 2 years within the last 5 years

  • Language Proficiency Listening / speaking CLB 5 (IELTS: 5 / CELPIP: 5),Writing

  • Job offer for at least 1 year

 

CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS

  • NOC Skill type O, A, B career experience, 1 year experience in Canada within the last 3 years

  • Language Proficiency NOC O / A: CLB 7, NOC B: CLB 5

Federal
Skilled Worker

The Immigration Department of Canada has established a list of occupations in various situations to address the shortage of professional labor in the country.

It is a program that allows people with a career in the application to apply for permanent residence in Canada.

You must have at least a certain level of English proficiency in a category where you can apply for permanent residence through a career outside Canada.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 1 year of continuous paid experience (full-time or part-time experience equivalent to full-time)

  • The above experience must be less than 10 years

  • The above career (occupation) must belong to NOC Skill Level O, A or B

  • Language proficiency (English & French): A score of CLB Level 7 or above in English (IELTS or CELPIP) and French (TEF) is required (valid for 2 years)

 EDUCATION

  • The applicant has a Canadian diploma, certificate, or

  • If you have a degree from a foreign country, you must have a Certificate of Achievement from an agency designated by the Immigration Canada. (Valid for 5 years)

 

LANGUAGE ABILITY

1. Meet the minimum language level of

  • Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 for NOC 0 or A jobs OR

  • Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 for NOC B jobs, and take a language test approved by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) that shows you meet the level for speaking, listening, reading and writing.

 2. You must show that you meet the requirements in English or French by including the test results when you complete your Express Entry profile.

  • Your test results must not be more than TWO years old on the day you apply for permanent residence or you will need to retake the test.

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • You must be admissible to Canada.

  • You must plan to live outside the province of Quebec.


Canadian Experience Class

Minimum requirements

Applicants must meet the following conditions when applying for permanent residence.

  • At least one year of experience in Canada for the past three years

  • Experience gained through legal process

  • Language proficiency required by NOC

 

Skilled work experience

At least one year of work experience in Canada in the past three years is required for

  • Managerial jobs (NOC skill level 0)

  • Professional jobs (NOC skill type A)

  • Technical jobs and skilled trades (NOC skill type B)

 Full time (1 year minimum)

  • 30 hours / week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)

Part time (1 year minimum)

  • 15 hours / week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours) or

  • 30 hours / week for 12 months at more than one job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)

 Self-employment or career gains cannot be used.

 

Education

There are no educational requirements for the Federal Experience Immigration Program. There is NO education requirement for Canadian Experience Class.

But, if you want to earn points for your education under Express Entry, you either need:

  • A Canadian secondary (high school) or post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree, OR

  • A completed foreign credential, and

  • An Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report from an agency approved by CIC.

 

Language ability

1. Meet the minimum language level of

  • Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 for NOC B jobs, and

Family Sponsorship

Canadian citizens and permanent residents can invite their spouse, domestic partner, or other family members, including dependents, to become permanent residents of Canada.

If you wish to stay longer, Super Visa allows you to stay in Canada for two years without extending your visa.

In the case of sponsored immigrants, the qualifications of the sponsor and that of the non-sponsored person will be examined separately.

You can choose to apply either in or outside Canada.

 

Are you eligible to sponsor?

Inviting spouse or common partner: immediately

  • Children over 19 years: three years from becoming permanent residents

  • Children under 19 years of age: from the time they become permanent residents until they are 10 years or 22 years old (where applicable).

 

Your obligations as a sponsor

Spouse: 3 years of financial responsibility

Parents and Grandparents: Financial Responsibilities for 10 Years After Acquiring Permanent Residency

Children under 22 years of age: Financial liability until the child turns 25 or 10 years after obtaining permanent residency

 

Spousal Sponsorship

Spouses who are eligible for Canadian Family Invited Immigrants include married spouses and common-law spouses.

A common-law spouse is someone who has lived together for at least one year.

* Unlike in the United States, the definition of a spouse in Canada also means marriage to a homosexual or factual relationship.

Dependent Children Sponsorship

  • For unmarried children under 19 years old

If your complete application for permanent residence is received under the age of 19, you may be over the age of 19 when issuing permanent residence.

  • Children who were married before the age of 19 but have continued their studies since marriage and are financially dependent on their parents

  • For children over the age of 19, who have continued their studies since before 19 and are financially dependent on their parents

If your studies are suspended due to military service, leave of absence, or part time enrollment, you will not be considered continuing.

* Study at the school is not included.

  • Children who are 19 years of age or older or who are economically dependent on their parents for illnesses

※ Except for unmarried children under the age of 19, the remaining conditions must be maintained not only when applying for permanent residence but also until issuance of permanent residence.

 

Parent and Grandparent Program

Invitees' income standards, which were based on the Canadian Minimum Living Cost (MNI), are set at 30% higher than the MNI.

  • For example, a guest in Canada, a family of four, invites parents in Korea. Annual income must be at least $ 73,072 (six families, including invitees).

Income proof period increased from 1 year to 3 years

The invitee and co-signer (if applicable) must certify that the gross income was 30% higher than the MNI for three years prior to filing the invitation.

  • Meet base income for three consecutive years

  • Proof of income is only accepted for data issued by the Canadian Internal Revenue Service (CRA)

After the invitation of parents, the mandatory period for the invitee to support the parents has been adjusted from the past 10 to 20 years, and the support pledge is signed.
